James Harper Clothing

James Harper Clothing was founded in 2012 in a Warehouse in Collingwood. Located in this old Melbourne clothing district, we celebrate the heritage by continuing to create unique clothing and accessories for men. We started out as a small accessories label specialising in silk ties. Over time we have grown to include a full range of men’s clothing including; casual shirts, business shirts, chinos, blazers and shorts.

Although we have come far, our story has only just begun.

At James Harper we believe details are everything and all of our products are carefully designed and considered. The range is classic with a modern twist; details like contrast linings, hidden trims and exclusive buttons make each style unique. We take everyday pieces and add a touch of fun.

Our design expertise, customer focused team of employees and commitment to James Harper values has allowed us to gain increasing exposure as we grown into new markets and expand our product offering.

Our clothing reflects an attitude and state of mind that we carry through to our diverse and creative projects including campaign films, international photo shoots and social media content.

Our products have now been sold to customers in 10 countries and been worn across the globe.

Design Philosophy

We are a SMALL diverse team and our experience IS varied. We come together to create unique, fun and inspiring menswear. We believe in doing things our own way, it’s how we got to where we are today. Our focus is on creating quality garments, exclusive designs and at a price anyone can afford.

Design is at the core of the James Harper ethos. We design everything in house, from the fabric prints to the button details, each product component is carefully considered and individually designed.

Product Range

The range began modestly with a small collection of silk ties. Over the last 6 years it has grown to include a full accessories range, printed cotton shirts, blazers, chinos and shorts. Next, we are expanding with a collection of sleep shorts.
